I am in my mid-30's. I am the third of five children. I was raised in a Christian home and recognize Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. It's a relationship, not a religion for me. That said, I am also human and I make mistakes often. I am thankful for the grace I live in daily.
My husband and I were married in June of 2002. We have one cat, which we love dearly.
My husband and I have been diagnosed with infertility and have been on this journey since January of 2004. We have had six fertility treatments at this point and also tried living a gluten-free lifestyle as a step along this journey. After a failed IVF cycle (In Vitro Fertilization) in June of 2011, we had a successful FET (Frozen Embryo Transfer) in July of 2011 that resulted in the birth of our beautiful daughter on April 21st 2012.
